Scarlett Johansson is an American actor and singer born in the city of New York the city of New York, on November 22nd the 22nd of November, 1984. Her performances have earned her acclaim across a wide variety of genres, including historical drama as well as action and thrillers. Johansson was born in New York City, and was raised by an architect father and producer mother. She was the twin sister of Hunter and she were her youngest siblings. She developed an interest in acting from a very young age auditioning for commercials by age seven. In order to improve her abilities, she studied at classes at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in Manhattan as well as at the Professional Children's School. In the Off-Broadway production Sophistry she co-starred with Ethan Hawke. She then appeared in her first film on screen in North (1994) which was directed by Rob Reiner, at age nine. Johansson subsequently starred on the screen in Just Cause (1995), however, her breakthrough was with Manny & Lo a coming of age drama about sisters fleeing. Next, she received critical praise for portraying an teen girl who experienced an accident which resulted in her being damaged as she appeared in The Horse Whisperer (1998). Her popularity grew with the film Ghost World (2002) as the self-deprecating outcast Rebecca. She's also a talented stage performer. The actress gave amazing performances like Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith was a child when she began her entertainment career. In her childhood she fell in love with acting. Thanks to the encouragement of her parents Smith landed her first role in the acting world in the age of 6. She appeared in a Dannon TV commercial. The same as other newbie actresses, she honed her skills on stage. She also worked in other projects throughout the USA, while Wildflower was her first stage performance. She was a graduate of at the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
