In the golf world for women, there are many ladies who not just look beautiful, but who appear to be young. Lexi Thompson was one of these women. When she considers her age, she is unsure of the reason her success is such. Does she have a special talent for golf or did she get the chance to play it from her infancy? That and much more are the questions we'll discuss here as she learns about one of America's greatest golfers Lexi Thompson. She was born in Coral Springs, Florida on the 10th of February, 1995. Alexis Thompson, his mother Amanda Thompson, and father Scott Thompson are his names. Lexi is a US citizen by birth, and is of white ethnicity. Lexi has inherited a portion of her golfing abilities through her dad. Her birthplace was in America and her father also played golf at a high level until he stopped. Her brothers, who are discussed below are professional golfers. Lexis attended homeschooling during her senior year of high school. In September of 2012, she was accepted to Louisiana State University, where she is pursuing a diploma. It is expected that she will graduate at this point, however the grade that she earned from her educational institution is not yet known. Lexis likely wasn't a newbie as she was born to a family full of golfers. As a child she started playing golf and in 2007, aged 12, she was the first female to qualify for the US Women's Open. In 2007, she was not the champion of the Women's Open in the United States, however she did win in the Aldila Junior Classic to be the second. The most junior American Junior Golf Association member to ever win the award, she also took home the Westfield Junior PGA Championship in the same year.
